Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents
📝 Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground sausage (mild or spicy)
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella – optional but recommended)
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ½ tsp black pepper
🔪 Instructions:
1. Cook the Sausage
- In a pan over medium heat, cook sausage until browned.
- Break it into small crumbles.
- Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
2. Make Filling
- In a bowl, mix:
- Cooked sausage
- Cream cheese
- Shredded cheese
- Garlic powder & black pepper
- Stir until creamy and well combined.
3. Prepare Crescents
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
4. Fill & Roll
- Place 1–2 tbsp filling on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up toward the narrow end.
- Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
