½ c yellow onion, chopped

1 c green bell pepper, chopped

1 c barbecue sauce

15 oz tomato sauce

2 c cheddar cheese, shredded

½ c yellow cornmeal

½ c whole milk

½ c flour

 c white sugar

¼ tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

1 large egg

¼ c unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease a 9×9 baking dish.

Cook ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in a pot over medium heat until the beef is browned (about 5-6 minutes). Drain any extra fat.
