Skillet Tomato Basil Chicken
🧾 Ingredients
For the chicken:
- 2 large chicken breasts (or 4 small), halved lengthwise
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the sauce:
- 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved) or 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream (optional)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves (chopped)

- Season the chicken
Pat dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. - Cook the chicken
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
