🥣 Super Creamy Hamburger Soup
🧾 Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups potatoes, peeled & diced
2 cups carrots, sliced
1 cup celery, chopped
4 cups beef broth
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1½ cups milk (or half-and-half for extra creaminess)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but recommended)
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Beef
In a large pot over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.
Drain excess fat if needed.
Add onion and garlic; cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
2️⃣ Build the Soup
Add potatoes, carrots, celery, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Pour in beef broth and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15–20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
3️⃣ Make It Creamy
In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in milk until smooth.
Pour mixture into the soup and stir well.
4️⃣ Finish
Simmer uncovered 5–7 minutes until thick and creamy.
Stir in cheese until melted (optional).
Taste and adjust seasoning.
