In a small bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter. Stir until the dough comes together.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Shape it into a ball.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a roll.
Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with non-stick cooking spray. Leave some space between each roll for expansion.
Cover the rolls with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown on top.
Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
