Tropical Fruit Bubble Drink
This looks like a homemade tropical fruit jelly drink with colorful fruit pearls or jelly balls suspended in a sweet citrus juice base.
Ingredients
- 4 cups orange juice
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup tapioca pearls, nata de coco, or fruit jelly balls
- 1 cup mixed diced fruits (mango, peach, pineapple, or papaya)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Ice cubes for serving
Optional Add-Ins
- Passion fruit pulp
- Coconut water
- Mint leaves
- Chia seeds
- Sparkling water for a fizzy version
Instructions
- Cook the pearls or jelly
If using tapioca pearls, cook according to package instructions until soft. Drain and rinse with cold water. - Prepare the juice base
In a large pot, combine orange juice, pineapple juice, water, sugar, and lemon juice. Heat gently for 3–5 minutes until sugar dissolves. Do not boil heavily. - Add fruits and pearls
Stir in cooked pearls/jelly balls and diced fruits. Let cool completely. - Bottle the drink
Pour into clean bottles or jars using a funnel. - Chill and serve
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Shake gently before pouring into glasses.
Tips
- Serve very cold for the best flavor.
- Use clear bottles to show off the colorful fruit pearls.
- Consume within 3–4 days if refrigerated.
