Ingredients

For the Pizza Dough

  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup (180ml) warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Pizza Sauce

  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)

Toppings

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced
  • ¼ cup green bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1–2 jalapeños or red chili, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil.
  3. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Step 2: Shape the Pizzas

  1. Punch down the dough and divide it into 2 equal portions.
  2. Roll each into an oval or round mini pizza about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Lightly prick the dough with a fork to prevent large air bubbles.

Step 3: Assemble

  1. Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each pizza.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously.
  3. Add mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and jalapeños.
  4. Finish with Italian seasoning, chili flakes, and a light drizzle of olive oil.

Step 4: Air Fry

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3 minutes.
  2. Place one pizza in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for 7–9 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Repeat with the second pizza.

Step 5: Serve

Let the pizzas cool for 2 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil, parsley, or extra chili flakes if desired. Serve with garlic dip, ranch, or your favorite sauce.

Tips

  • For a crispier crust, pre-cook the plain dough for 2–3 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Add olives, sweet corn, spinach, or paneer for extra flavor.
  • Use cheddar, provolone, or a pizza cheese blend for a richer taste.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
