Fantastic Garlic Flatbreads (Ready in 10 Minutes)

Ingredients

(Makes 4 flatbreads)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup plain yogurt (or milk)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter

Garlic Butter

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped

  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes or garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Make the dough

    • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

    • Add yogurt and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.

    • Knead lightly for 1 minute until smooth.

  2. Divide

    • Divide dough into 4 equal balls.

    • Roll each into a thin circle or oval (about 6–7 inches).

  3. Cook

    • Heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Cook each flatbread for 1–2 minutes per side, until bubbles form and golden spots appear.

  4. Garlic butter

    • Mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, and chili flakes (if using).

  5. Finish

    • Brush hot flatbreads generously with garlic butter.

    • Serve immediately.
