Cheese & Herb Sandwich Spread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (200 g) cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • ½ cup (120 g) mayonnaise
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 small carrot, finely grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives or green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add mayonnaise and mix until creamy.
  3. Stir in the grated cheddar, carrot, parsley, and chives.
  4. Add garlic powder, pepper, salt, and lemon juice.
  5. Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly combined.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Serving Ideas

  • Spread on toasted bread or crackers.
  • Use as a sandwich filling.
  • Serve as a dip for vegetables.
