Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups cornstarch
- 200 grams/7.05 oz of unsalted margarine at room temperature
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
We’ll start by preheating the oven to 356 °F or (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Then, using a bowl, mix the margarine and sugar until a creamy mixture forms.
Then add the cornstarch, flour and baking powder. Stir until you have a uniform dough. Then shape small balls with your hands and place them on the baking sheet, keeping space between them.
Then use a fork to gently press down on each ball and shape it into a cookie.
Finally, bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly browned on the edges.
