Smoked Sausage Cajun Alfredo

Ingredients:
• 1 package of smoked sausage, sliced

• 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or your choice)

• 1 cup heavy cream

• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 1-2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

• Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for extra spice

• Optional: vegetables like bell peppers, spinach, or broccoli

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta: Boil the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Sausage: In a skillet, brown the sliced smoked sausage over medium-high heat until it’s nicely browned.

Make the Sauce: Add the heavy cream and Cajun seasoning to the skillet with the sausage. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.

Combine: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
