Taco Ranch Bites

Ingredients:

• 1 pound of ground beef
• 1 packet (1 ounce) of taco seasoning
• 1 can (10 ounces) of diced tomatoes and green chiles, with the juice
• 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 bottle (8 ounces) of ranch dressing
• 5 packages of frozen phyllo tart shells (15 count each)

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Get it nice and toasty for these tasty bites.
2. Grab a skillet and put it on medium heat. Toss in the ground beef and cook it until it’s all browned up, then drain off any extra grease.
3. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning and dump in the diced tomatoes with green chiles. Give it a good stir and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. When it’s done, take it off the heat.
4. Now, in a mixing bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, and the taco meat mixture until it’s all mixed up real good.
5. Take those frozen phyllo tart shells and fill each one up with the taco mixture. Make sure you divvy it up evenly.
6. Lay out the filled tart shells on a baking sheet. Line ’em up real nice.
7. Pop those babies in the oven and let them bake for 8-10 minutes. You’ll know they’re ready when the cheese is all melty and bubbly. If you’re baking them from frozen, give ’em an extra 2-3 minutes.
8. When they’re done baking, take ’em out of the oven and serve ’em up warm. They’re gonna disappear fast, so be ready!
